Kartmasters MSA GP - August 2010
My name is James Walkington. I live in Colchester, I am 14 years old and I race a 125cc Junior Max kart. One day I will be a professional racing driver.

I started karting very soon after my eighth birthday at the Colchester Indikart indoor circuit, and then outdoors at the Brentwood Karting Academy and the Kent circuits Buckmore Park and Bayford Meadows. I was successful at all of these circuits and was the Bayford Meadows Junior Club Winter Champion of 2008/9.

At the start of 2009 Mum and Dad bought me my own MiniMax 2-stroke kart and I took the ARKS test to get my MSA racing licence. I competed in the 2010 "Super One" National Championship in MiniMax, finishing 28th out of 62 drivers. You can see all of my race results on this page.

At the end of 2010 I had to stop racing to give my Mum & Dad's wallet a rest but I hope to be back soon!
